The story behind
The name "Casa Uva Verde" means "House of Green Grapes" in Spanish. The house's soft green color reminds us of the fresh, vibrant color of green grapes. It represents nature, freshness, and relaxation, everything we want you to feel during your stay.
Our house is located on Druifweg, which means "Grape Road" in Dutch. While grapes aren’t grown on Curaçao, the street name adds to the natural feel, as grapes are a symbol of elegance and good taste.
Each apartment at Casa Uva Verde is named after a white wine. Just like wines, each apartment has its own unique style, adding a special touch to your stay. Together, the name of the house, the street, and the wine-inspired apartments make Casa Uva Verde a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Curaçao.

Casa Uva Verde is located at Druifweg 45, offering you easy access to some of Curaçao’s best spots and activities.
Mambo Beach is just a 2-minute drive away, where you can enjoy the sun, sea, and lively beach clubs. Jan Thiel Beach is only 10 minutes by car, a beautiful place for swimming, dining, and soaking up the ocean views. The nearest grocery store, Vreugdenhil, is just a 3-minute drive, making it easy to pick up everything you need during your stay. If you want to explore the island’s vibrant culture, Downtown Willemstad is only 15 minutes away by car, where you can wander the colorful streets, visit local shops, and discover historical sights.
For diving enthusiasts, Casa Uva Verde is ideally located near some of the best dive sites around the island. The marina, just 10 minutes away, is where you can catch a boat for exciting trips to Eastpoint.

We’re Sytse & Ylva, a Dutch couple who moved to Curaçao in early 2022. After falling in love with the island’s natural beauty and vibrant culture, we decided to follow our dreams and start Soul Divers, a diving school where we introduce visitors to Curaçao’s incredible underwater world.
